Nude Beach Miami List

1. Haulover Park Beach

Haulover Park Brach

Haulover Park, located near Miami Beach, Florida, is a world-class naturist attraction and is regarded as one of the greatest nude beaches in the world. Visitors at Haulover Park are permitted to swim, sunbathe and wander about naked. Naturists, tourists, residents, and others visit Haulover to enjoy the beauty of the ocean while being fully natural.  The park system includes the amenities, beach, and marina.

The county eventually confined the clothing-optional option to the northernmost 800-yard stretch of Haulover and designated it as a free nude beach.

The naturist area of the beach lies between lifeguard towers 12 and 16 and is located at the 10800 block of Collins Avenue, between the Sunny Isles Causeway and A1A. Haulover is open every day from sunrise to sunset and is fully free with the exception of a parking fee at the lot across the street.

Visitors at Haulover Park have access to showers, picnic tables, concessions, restrooms, and lifeguards who are on duty during operational hours.

Haulover is one of two additional public beach parks in the area, having 1.4 miles of coastline and 177 acres in total. When Dade County Commission purchased North Beach in 1940, it was renamed Haulover and opened to the public a year later. Haulover’s naturist sector first launched in 1991. Despite the fact that Florida’s state laws prohibit public nudity, Haulover is a haven for sunbathers seeking to commune with nature.

Activities You Can Enjoy At Haulover Nude Beach Miami

Because the northern section of Haulover is the only location that allows nudity, it is cloaked in vegetation and has a sign at the entrance informing other beachgoers that the area is clothes optional. Are you curious about the events at Haulover Park? In addition to naked swimming and sunbathing, there are several more activities available.

Haulover Nude Beach Miami offers a variety of facilities such as picnic spaces, lifeguard towers, and bathrooms. Many families visit Haulover regardless of whether or not they use the naturist area of the beach for other beach activities such as surfing, sunbathing, picnics, and even barbecues.

Furthermore, the beach includes a long bike lane that many people enjoy riding up and down on cycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, and other similar devices. Other popular activities at Haulover include kite flying. Haulover Beach Park, one of the most renowned kite flying locations in South Florida, also houses Skyward Kites, a kite shop with the greatest variety of wind spinners, wind stocks, and kites in Miami.

Locals and visitors seeking for a beach adventure may head to Haulover Beach Park every Tuesday for the Food Truck Roundup. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., trucks may be located at Haulover’s BillBird Marina. After a day at the beach, beachgoers may enjoy live entertainment in addition to great food.

Do you enjoy fishing? Haulover is a fantastic fishing place. Fishermen can cast their lines at Baker’s Haulover Cut, but they must have their Florida fishing license with them.

Things To Remember Before Visiting Haulover Nude Beach Miami

Are you eager to experience Haulover Beach for yourself? To make your vacation to Haulover Beach as pleasurable as possible, keep the following ideas in mind:

  • Although there are no laws prohibiting the use of technology or cameras, it is not good to photograph other naked guests without their consent.
  • When sitting on public benches or similar surfaces, use a towel.
  • Avoid public shows of love and any form of sexual conduct, as both are illegal.
  • In Haulover Beach, naked bathing is only permitted in certain places.
  • The naturist beach is open to families and individuals of any sexual orientation.
  • With adequate supervision, children are permitted to utilize the naturist area of the beach.

Don’t forget to visit additional nude-friendly spots while you’re in Miami. The hotels listed below allow visitors to go topless or naked.

PLEASE NOTE: This list is NOT guaranteed and is subject to change without notice.  Before renting a room, check with the hotel to see if clothing-optional activities are authorized.

  • The Marlin Hotel
  • Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton
  • Hotel Victor South Beach
  • Penthouse at Riverside Wharf
  • Rooftop Resort

There are around 3 kilometers of sweeping white sand along the Atlantic, so even when it becomes crowded here in winter (particularly on weekends), there is plenty of room for everyone.

Haulover Beach has been clothing-optional since 1990 and is growing in popularity year after year. There is only one drawback: you can’t stay nude all day. Around 5 p.m., beach attendants begin to post “No Nudity” signs, and violators face a $100 fine.

There is a snack bar, three restaurant pavilions and about 400 parking places. There are showers with running water and bathrooms for changing clothes. However, it is best to arrive early (before 11 a.m.) in order to find a good place.

2. South Beach

South Beach

Nudists despise this Miami neighborhood known for its trendy, affluent nightlife. However, if you disregard the numerous pubs and clubs around Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue, it’s a pleasant location to be.

South Beach is an 11-kilometer-long narrow sand bar popular with the LGBT population, but there are also some straight visitors. There aren’t many naturist spots in Miami, but South Beach is one of the few exceptions, with hundreds of clothing-optional beaches stretching from 12th Street to 23rd Street.

Many of them are small private beaches with only enough room for a few sun loungers, making it difficult to rest without being bothered by passers-by or beach workers. The simplest approach is to hire an umbrella, chair, and table, which is less expensive than purchasing beverages at one of the neighboring pubs or restaurants.

It’s even possible to locate a beautiful area without any disruption if you go early in the morning (before 10 a.m.). The disadvantage is that they are frequently busy in the late afternoon when everyone returns from work or a night of partying. This small sand strip, in my opinion, is more suited for surfing, reading, and photographing than for nature.

3. South Pointe Park

South Pointe Park itself is a beautiful green space that provides a respite from the sun, featuring lush lawns, towering palm trees, and picnic areas. The third most well-known nudist beach in Miami is located just west of South Beach in the Hollywood neighborhood. There is no official nudist beach, although you may observe individuals swimming and sunbathing on the west side of the pier on Hollywood Beach.
